Digital Residue & Clipboard Sanctuary

Every time text is copied, three copies exist: the one on screen, the one in the operating system clipboard, and the one left behind in volatile memory. Only the first is visible. The other two are what scrapers, overlay apps and external assistants read.

1. Selection guard

A long press is treated as the start of a secure buffer session. While the session is open, context menus, drag-out and background overlays are refused, so nothing can quietly lift the selection from underneath the page.

2. Paste sanitizer

Text arriving from an outside assistant often carries invisible characters, bidirectional marks, citation tokens, tracking parameters and trailing attribution. The sanitizer strips all of it and keeps only the raw intended words.

3. Zero residue

When a transfer is confirmed, the clipboard is overwritten several times with random characters and then blanked, so the previous contents cannot be recovered from the buffer afterwards.

4. Local-first by rule

None of this reporting leaves the device. Records, history and vault contents stay inside your own browser storage — no sponsor, dashboard or server ever receives them.
